Good evening. Due to windchill temperatures tomorrow morning reaching a sub 0 temperature, Jackson County Schools will operate on a two-hour delay. Parents, please do not have your child wait outside on a bus for more than 10 minutes. After receiving updates from our drivers regarding morning road conditions, Jackson County Schools will continue to operate on a two-hour delay for Tuesday, December 9. Ninety-five percent of our bus routes are not affected.
However, if a bus cannot run your child's route, and you believe road conditions are still unsafe to meet the bus at a designated area, please send a note with your child to school the next day.
